Detailed Information

A clinical engineer with over 18 years of cross-sector experience (government, private, and corporate) and 5 years in education (IEB Curriculum-FET Phase). I possess a rare fusion of technical expertise, academic research, and pedagogy. A qualified academic editor (UCT) with demonstrated expertise in research (qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods), healthcare technology management, aligning operations with the organisation’s mission, risk mitigation, and project management.

As a strategic architect capable of influencing institutional thinking, particularly in curriculum design, healthcare technology management, and postgraduate research development, I believe in systems and analytical thinking, and strongly in blue-ocean strategy. As a results-driven clinical engineer, I have managed projects both locally and internationally in China, Ghana, the DRC, and Zambia.

  • Democratic Republic of Congo: managed clinical engineering projects at Bravo, Granary, Kisanfu, Lubumbashi, Fungurume, N’seke, Dipeta, and Tenke clinics.
  • Ghana: managed clinical engineering projects across Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, Ahafo, Akyem, Bogoso, Takoradi and Wassa Mine clinics.
  • China: managed clinical engineering projects at Wuhan and Taishan clinics.
  • Zambia: Led clinical engineering projects at Ndola, Kalumbila (Trident), and Solwezi (Kansanshi) clinics.

Currently, I am pursuing an MEd in mathematical education, focusing on technology-supported cooperative problem-based learning in private secondary schools, as well as on self-directed learning and mathematical reasoning. With an MBA and multiple postgraduate qualifications in management, education, and electrical engineering, I consider myself a multidisciplinary professional at the intersection of engineering, education, and research.
